"Baskin-Robbins always finds out, bro."
"Baskin-Robbins don't play."

Baskin-Robbins is the world's largest chain of ice cream shops and restaurants.

History

Following his release from San Quentin, Scott Lang searched for a job in order to provide financially for his family, only to have his criminal record preventing him from finding one. Adopting the fake identity of Jack, he obtained a job at a Baskin-Robbins shop in San Francisco.

Lang was eventually called by his manager Dale to his office, where he learned that Baskin-Robbins found out about his past criminal past and the robbery at Geoff Zorick's Mansion. While expressing his admiration for Lang's action and his despise for the corrupt Vistacorp, Dale told Lang that he was fired due to his criminal record, but allowed him to take a free ice-cream on his way back home.[1]

Behind the Scenes

  • According to the screenwriter Adam McKay, Chipotle Mexican Grill was originally meant to be in Ant-Man instead of Baskin-Robbins, but the company didn't appreciate the context in which their brand was used. It was later changed to Jamba Juice, and finally to Baskin-Robbins because "because who doesn't like Baskin Robbins?".[2]
  • In real life, each Baskin Robbins location handles their own hiring, so some locations may accept those with criminal record.[3]
