    Micro and Jigsaw

    January 15, 2017 by Mikaelhandigdo

Micro was an ally of Punisher for years and he betrayed him and turned into a villain of him. Actually is sounds a bit like Mordo. Because Mordo betrayed the Ancient One and became an villain of Doctor Strange. So why don't Marvel make Micro's story the same like Mordo? Later, in the standoalone Punisher tv series, he will be an ally of him. Usually there are some reference to the comics which slip in the films or tv series. So maybe Micro will betray him like in the comics.

Jigsaw is supposed to be the archenemy of Punisher. But something strange is that in the standalone tv series of Punisher, he will be his best friend. So I think it's a bit strange because they could've made him a villain in the series instead of Dinah Madani and Sam St…

    Blade in the MCU

    January 14, 2017 by Mikaelhandigdo

Hello, guys! So I'm thinking, how about if we put Blade in the MCU? I know it sounds a bit impossible because it will be chaos if we mix vampires, inhumans, humans, etc together and I think it's most likely that Blade won't join the MCU but we'll see what the producers will decide later. If Blade is in the MCU, I rather prefer him in the tv series of Netflix or Freeform or a new channel. I think it would be cool if he's in the MCU because I love seeing him battling the vampires. And if he's joining the MCU, there should be more vampires villains like Deacon Frost, Dracula, Morbius, or etc. If there is Morbius, maybe Blade and Spider-Man should team up together to fight him because he's an enemy to both Blade and Spider-Man and it will be c…

The Heimdall theory has been around for a couple of years now. The theory is that Heimdall has the Soul Stone. I do not believe this theory, as there are a number of pieces of evidence from the MCU which indicate that he does not have it. This is meant to explain the evidence that disproves this theory.

The popular theory is that Heimdall’s gem on his armor from Thor: The Dark World is the Soul Stone.

“The Tesseract is already on Asgard. It is not wise to keep two Infinity Stones so close together.”

    -Volstagg, Thor: The Dark World

A lot of fans have taken this to mean the Space Stone is the only Infinity Stone on Asgard, and the Asgardians do not want to have more than one Infinity Stone on Asgard due to the danger it presents.

    Therefore, the A…

I'm sorry this blog took a lot longer than I thought it would and technically it's still not finished yet. Judging the Netflix villains is much harder than judging the movie villains because there is so much more content. I'm not done judging the Luke Cage villains but I decided to publish what I have so far and I'll add my judgements on the Luke Cage villains by the end of the week.

The bullets closer to the top take priority over the bullets closer to the bottom. The sub bullets show I’m taking into consideration for each criteria.

    • Is the villain entertaining?

    • The villain needs to feel like a threat to the hero. I’m judging this criteria more harshly here than I did for the movie villains.

      • It helps if we see the villain defeat, hurt, or humi…

I thought I would take a guess of what the second Doctor Strange movie would be about even though it’s pretty far in the future.

For the main villain, it would be Nightmare.

I think they could include another important book, like what they did with the Book of Cagliostro. In this movie it would be The Atlantean Dreamwave. In the comics, Strange used the book when he was investigating Ghost Rider’s nightmares.

As for the major reality threatening conflict, Strange would seek knowledge from Eternity to stopping Dormammu (which was the main plot of Eternity’s very first appearance in Marvel Comics). Strange would find that Nightmare had captured Eternity (which was the main plot of Doctor Strange Vol 1 182).

I’m not really sure how Mordo would fi…

    Interlinking in the MCU

    December 26, 2016 by Maurice.136

As we all know Marvel Cinematic Universe is all connected, in every single film there is at least one character or reference that interlinks with the movie/series showing its apart of the other movies.

Iron Man the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you can see Phil Coulson (Portrayed by Clark Gregg) as a supporting character who also appears in Iron Man 2, Thor and The Avengers also is the main cast in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series. Nick Fury (Portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson) made a cameo in the movie during the post-credits scene to talk to Stark about the Avenger initiative foreshadowing the The Avengers film. Nick Fury also appears in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter …

According to James Gunn, there is a big easter egg which fans have not been able to find in Guardians of the Galaxy. He said he would reveal it sometime around the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

I figured I would put down some of my ideas of what it could be.

One of the fan theories is that it was a reference to Ego, Peter's father. And as of right now my only theories are connected to that.

    1. Power Stone/Orb- the orb looks like a planet and contains the Power Stone, which is purple. Ego is a purple planet.

    2. The Purple Planet- While the Collector is telling the Guardians about the Infinity Stones, he plays footage of a Celestial using the Power Stone on the planet. The life on the planet is whiped out and turns purple. So, mayb…

So at that point in the movie Thanos is preparing to attack the Earth with a massive army to finally assemble the Infinity Stones, and the Avengers are all huddled at either the New Avengers Facility or Avengers Tower to plan their defense. But then Nick Fury, who earlier in the movie helped Doctor Strange reassemble the team after Civil War, interrupts and tells hem they have help, and then the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. main cast walks in (Phil Coulson, Quake, Melinda May, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, and Alphonso Mackenzie, assuming …

This is just a theory. Please share your opinion on this.

Peter gets mentored by Tony Stark, however, he hates Tony for treating him a kid, Peter then stops listening to Tony and things get worse. Both of these guys got into a fight, resulting Tony to once again suit up as Iron Man chasing Spider Man at NYC. He took off the suit from Peter because he thinks Peter is very irresponsible, which gives a result that Peter has to face Vulture alone in his old suit.

After hearing Vulture caused chaos to NYC, Tony, suited up again as Iron Man, tried to attack Vulture, however, his suit was ruined by Vulture, resulting Tony himself to get out of the scene and decides to call Peter to help. Tony then allows Peter to retrieve back his suit, then destro…

With cameos from Ghost Rider, Valkyrie, Franck Castle and members of Damage Control team.

It would be planned for two short seasons, that would air during both summer 2017 and 2018.

    TV and Movie Crossovers

    November 23, 2016 by Kreebee

I know everyone's heard this before, but don't you think there needs to be more crossovers between all aspects of the MCU? Like more than just movie-tv crossovers, it's so annoying that all the tv shows alone act separately and depict of places and people all completely apart from all the other shows/characters. It's kind of annoying, because in reality, when you have such a large government-subsidised organisation such as SHIELD tracking superpowered peoples, how on Earth could they not have encountered any of the heroes from New York? The whole idea behind SHIELD is that it deals with superpowered people, and yet they haven't even mentioned any of the Defenders. The show AOS literally takes place in all the cities APART FROM NEW YORK jus…

Doctor Strange was recently released in theaters to pretty awesome reviews. As the fourteenth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film presented audiences with a totally different side of the franchise that many have not been exposed to. Needless to say, amazing. However, even a great film like this can share familiar aspects to a true disappointment, like, say Martin Campbell's 2011 bomb, Green Lantern. Sure, both characters belong to totally separate studios and the intentions of the studios were to make a flick revolved solely around these personalities. Regardless, it's scary (and safe to say) that the features of both films are pretty similar.

Backstories: Before becoming the characters representative of their eponymously t…

Disclaimer: potential spoilers for every Marvel Movie

This is a follow-up to my previous blog "why people think Marvel villains suck?". This blog is dedicated to examining the marvel movie villains who have only appeared in one movie and giving my judgements on these characters. I think a lot of these characters have been unfairly judged.

I have a few criteria for judging villains. A good villain needs to:

    • be entertaining
    • feel like a threat: someone who could actual defeat the hero
    • have easy to understand motivations
      • motivations need to be made clear in the actual movie, if we need supplementary material like comics to understand their motivations that doesn't count.
    •  have clearly defined characteristics: they shouldn't be interchangable
    • have cons…

A recurring criticism of the Marvel Movies is that the villains suck. I don't believe this is true but I have a theory as to why so people do.

Most villains will be defeated permenantly in the movie that introduces them; the heroes meanwhile get to come back again and again: in sequals, crossover films, and in post credit scenes. This limits the amount of development the villains can recieve relative to the heroes. Combine this with the fact that the Marve Cinematic Universe has been going on for eight years and it's inevitable that a lot of villains will feel forgetable.

Loki is an obvious exception to this rule and guess what he's the villain that a lot of people love the most. In fact I've heard him be singled out as an exception to the "…

    Welcome to the "Real-World" Index

An aspect that is often overlooked in the original comics is the concept of minor enemies. Visual media such as movies and television series, but especially, video games, need a series of minor enemies to challenge the protagonists, other than the established antagonists, who would be major and final challenges.

Video games have played a part of the Marvel Universe in the latest years, and despite the video games set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have never achieved the popularity of the movies they are based on, there are many Marvel videogames that have inspired and are inspired in return by the MCU.

Based on these videogames, such as ', ' and especially, ', this is a list of the main groups of minor enem…

This is just a rough guess of how the Black Panther might involve the Soul Stone.

10,000 years ago, Wakanda was home to a collection of primitive human tribes. It was during this time a massive meteorite made of a sound and energy absorbing mineral, which would later be known as vibranium, crashed to Earth. One of the tribes, led by Bashenga, its mightiest warrior, decided to investigate, believing this to be a gift from the gods.

When they reached the crater, they found that the material vibrated and decided it would be useful to forge into weapons. However, the radiation the meteorite gave off also had a side effect, turning some of the tribesmen into "Demon Spirits". Bashenga prayed to the Panther God to give him the strength to defeat t…

I think Heimdall's gem is meant to represent Asgard. In Thor, Thor drew the Nine Realms. The Nine Realms were in the form of Yggdrasil, with Asgard at the top. In Thor: The Dark World, Heimdall's armor featured Yggdrasil, and the gem is in the location of where Asgard was shown on the map of the Nine Realms.

Also, in Captain America: The First Avenger, the Yggdrasil design features Asgard at the top of the tree.

So, I think the gem represents Asgard and it gives his armor a patriotic meaning.

It's been a long time since we heard anything about "Damage Control", an ABC sitcom that's part of the MCU and follows people who clean up after superhero battles that was supposed to be part of the 2016-2017 TV season. A lot of people (myself included) are assuming that the show was cancelled before it's pilot was complete.

It's possible that ABC thought Damage Control was too big of a risk. It was based on a fairly obscure marvel comic and wouldn't have had a huge built in fanbase. A lot of people are attracted to the idea of a story where the focus is on regular people living in a superhero universe, but NBC is producing their own show called Powerless with a very similar set up.

It's also possible that either Marvel Studios or ABC simply…
