"Caged Heat" was a rejected television pilot that starred Trevor Slattery years before he was approached by Aldrich Killian for his "role" as the Mandarin. Besides Slattery the show also starred Rick Hawkins and Priscilla Everhart.
In the mid 1980s, the showrunners of "Caged Heat" cast Trevor Slattery, Rick Hawkins and Priscilla Everhart as the stars, in an attempt to create a new television series. They had their hopes placed on the CBS Network being the one to air the show, but after the pilot for "Caged Heat" was sent to the network, news was received that the show was rejected. In addition to the pilot, a trailer was made. The music for "Caged Heat" was provided by Mike Post.
Many years later, the star of the show, Trevor Slattery, who had plastic surgery so that people would not correlate him with the televised messages he gave for A.I.M., discussed "Caged Heat" during an interview by Jackson Norriss about his past.
