- "What is this place? Suit Lady, where am I?"
"You're in the most secure facility on the Eastern Seaboard. The Damage Control Deep Storage Vault." - ―Spider-Man and Karen[src]
The Damage Control Deep Storage Vault is a storage vault located in Washington, D.C. used by the United States Department of Damage Control to house alien and exotic materials.
History[]
Creation[]
The Damage Control Deep Storage Vault was built after the United States Department of Damage Control was founded as an executive branch to collect alien and other dangerous materials following the Battle of New York in 2012.[1]
Locked inside the Vault[]
- "Karen, you have to help me override that time lock. Lower the voltage and run it."
"Trial unsuccessful."
"Okay, we're just gonna have to try every sequence." - ―Spider-Man and Karen[src]
In 2016, Spider-Man was accidentally trapped in a Damage Control truck and when he woke up, he found himself locked in the vault. He then spent thirty-seven minutes trapped there, learning of his suit's full capabilities. Spider-Men tasked Karen with analyzing a Chitauri Energy Core and was informed that it was highly volatile when exposed to radiation. As Ned Leeds was currently in possession of an energy core that was about to be subject to radiation, Spider-Man was immediately galvanized into action, asking Karen to help him open the door so he could escape.[1]
