The Krylorians are a humanoid species native to the planet Krylor and made physically distinctive by their pink skin.
History[]
Interacting with the Galaxy[]
The Krylorians are the native race of Krylor.[1] They are a frequently seen race in the advanced galactic communities. Because of their beauty, female Krylorians were often used as slaves by criminals. For example, Taneleer Tivan seemed to prefer Krylorian females as his assistants, and often treated them cruelly. One of these assistants was Carina.[2]
Krylorians were also shown to be sexually compatible with other races besides their own, as Peter Quill slept with a Krylorian named Bereet, and Rhomann Dey was married to a Krylorian named Karman-Kan and had a Krylorian/Xandarian hybrid daughter with her named Duranna.[3]
Ravager[]
A Krylorian Ravager from Yondu Udonta's clan named Oblo stood up against Taserface's mutiny against Udonta. However, the mutiny was successful, and Oblo was ejected into space for his loyalty to Udonta.[4]
Stolen Pen[]
A S.H.I.E.L.D. team consisting of Daisy Johnson, Piper, James Davis, and Jemma Simmons went to Krylor looking for Leo Fitz. Davis saw Krylorians using a pen and stole one from them, thinking it was cool that aliens such as the Krylorians wrote things.[5]
Living in Knowhere[]
Krylorians such as Hoobtoe lived in Knowhere with the Guardians of the Galaxy.[6] She celebrated Christmas with the Guardians and hid from the damaged caused by their conflict with High Evolutionary.[1]
Attacked[]
The Krylorians' home planet, Krylor, was attacked, and the Guardians of the Galaxy came to the planet's aid. Krylorians watched as the Guardians waited for the attackers and discussed their favorite music. The attackers then came, making the Krylorians flee as the Guardians advanced.[1]
Characteristic Traits[]
Like many other extraterrestrial races in the galaxy, Krylorians are a human-like race whose physical features are almost entirely similar to that of a human. The only difference is their pink skin pigments and eye colors, which are much brighter than that of a human. They also have scar-like ridges on their face, but where on their face is indeterminable.
Krylorians are capable of reproduction with other species, such as Xandarians. Unlike other species, however, they do not need to blink or breathe, but can choose when to in order to fit in with social situations.[7]
