Agent Garrett is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was assigned to monitor Thor with Cale before the Battle of Puente Antiguo.
Biography[]
Observing Iron Man[]
Garrett was assigned to be part of a SEAL team in order to report Tony Stark's actions to S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury. Garett's team boarded a ship controlled by the Ten Rings in Aden. During the boarding, Garrett was contacted by Fury, who wanted him to report on Stark, who arrived shortly after the SEAL team. Iron Man fought the terrorists, and Garrett was too frightened to report anything to Fury, believing that he was going to die. When the SEAL team was surrounded by Ten Rings operatives, Stark saved them. Garrett told Stark that he had orders to engage him, but Stark dismissed the warning and flew away. Garrett told Fury that Stark had left and that he owed Stark his life. The and the rest of the SEAL team were then ordered to debrief back in the United States of America after the cleanup from the mission.[1]
Observing Thor[]
When Mjølnir was found in Puente Antiguo, New Mexico, S.H.I.E.L.D. occupied the town in order to do tests, and Garrett was among them. When Sif and the Warriors Three came to the town seeking the exiled Thor, Garrett was with Cale on a roof, observing. They saw the four, commented on their appearance, and reported it to their superiors.[2]

- In a deleted scene, Garrett is knocked out by Volstagg.
