The Vaulting Boots of Valtorr are a mystically enhanced pair of boots used by Karl Mordo to move freely in the air. They increase the wearer's leaping ability and nullify the adverse effects of impacts from high landings and are also capable of allowing the wearer to briefly walk on air. When in use, the boots emit orange sparks from the footfalls.

Karl Mordo introduced these boots to Doctor Strange during a sparring match between the two. Once Mordo disarmed Strange, he used the Vaulting Boots of Valtorr to skip through the air, then he came down to punch Strange in the face, making Mordo the winner of the sparring match.[1]
Battle at the Mirror Dimension[]

Mordo repeatedly used the Boots as he and Doctor Strange battled Kaecilius in the Mirror Dimension. As Kaecilius rapidly transformed the landscape and distorted its gravity and physics, the Boots allowed Mordo to easily leap across the realm and land without trouble when sent falling several stories.[1]

During Wanda Maximoff's infiltration in the Illuminati Headquarters, Baron Mordo cast his final vote on behalf of the Illuminati to execute Strange. During his fight with the captive sorcerer, he utilized the Boots.[2]

The Vaulting Boots of Valtorr were imbued with a power to increase the wearer's leaping ability immensely, and are also capable of allowing the wearer to briefly walk on air as well as to nullify the adverse effects of impacts from high landings. - In the comics, Valtorr is a giant armored serpent deity, part of the group known as the Octessence. It is commonly attributed to a spell used by Doctor Strange, the Vapors of Valtorr.
