Guardians of the Galaxy Prequel Infinite Comic is a digital comic set between the events of Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.
Plot[]
Dangerous Prey[]
With the Tesseract already in Asgard and feeling that it would be unwise to have two Infinity Stones in the same place, Sif and Volstagg deliver the Aether to the Collector. Seeking the Orb, the Collector hires Gamora to claim it for him.
Gamora meets with a hologram of the Collector in Conjunction after a brief scuffle with the local outlaws. With little hesitation, Gamora accepts the offer. Despite her claims that she is doing this for the provided payment, Gamora secretly seeks to keep the Orb away from her former ally, Ronan the Accuser, who is hunting the Orb for Thanos. As Gamora goes on her hunt, the Collector muses on the inevitable battle for the Orb's possession.
