Jack McGee is a college student at Culver University and one of the school's newspaper reporters.
Biography
Jack McGee was one of the students who were interviewed about the Hulk's campus rampage along with his friend Jim Wilson. He filmed the Battle at Culver University on his cellphone. During an interview with a reporter from WHiH World News, while excitedly recounting the confrontation, he referred to rampaging creature as "a hulk." This name ended up catching on so quickly that even army personnel—including General Ross—began referring to him as such by the time of his dual with the Abomination in Harlem, only a couple days later.[1]

- He is an homage to Jack McGee as played by Jack Colvin in the 1977–1982 television show starring Bill Bixby as David Banner and Lou Ferrigno as his alter ego, Hulk.
