Joan Marie Larkin, professionally known as Joan Jett, is an American rock singer and guitarist. Her song "Bad Reputation" is featured in the Jessica Jones "Nightcap" trailer.

- Footage of Spider-Man: Homecoming shown at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con International was set to "Bad Reputation".[1] This may be a reference to it being the theme song from the television series Freaks and Geeks, which starred the film's writer John Francis Daley and actor Martin Starr.
- "Bad Reputation" was also featured in the comic book adaptation Kick-Ass and her song "I Hate Myself for Loving You" was featured in Kick-Ass 2.
