Joss Whedon directed The Avengers, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode Pilot and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

He is the co-creator of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and was credited as an executive producer for the series. He was also credited as an executive producer on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot.

He wrote The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and co-wrote the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode Pilot with Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. He also made uncredited rewrites to the scripts of Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor: The Dark World.[1]

He also directed the post-credits scene of Thor and the mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

He portrayed Smithsonian Visitor in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

As the creative consultant for Phase Two of the MCU, he provided ideas to James Gunn for Guardians of the Galaxy.[2]

He was interviewed for the documentary Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe.
