Siege of the Lighthouse[]
- "We'll make it to the armory and bring back what we can find."
"Thanks, Agent Kim." - ―Kim and Phil Coulson[src]
Kim was one of the agents gathered and taken to the Lighthouse by Deathlok.[1] He attended a briefing in which Phil Coulson gave various assignments in prevision of the Destruction of Earth, something Kim did not know about and therefore had trouble to understand. Kim then watched as the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents argued over the fact that Yo-Yo Rodriguez had murdered Ruby Hale during the Infiltration into the HYDRA Herefordshire Facility. Once Coulson ended the argument, Kim asked James Davis whether the situation was normal, to which Davis replied that he was not used to such disagreements.
Kim was present when a massive spaceship appeared over the Lighthouse. Kim unsuccessfully tried to set off the base's alarms and listened to Coulson's announcement about the situation. When Qovas contacted the Lighthouse to negotiate with Coulson and Coulson claimed that they could withstand a several years long siege, Kim asked Melinda May whether it was true.
During the ensuing siege, Kim listened to Deke Shaw's explanations about the Remorath invaders. Kim then left with a couple of other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents for the Lighthouse's armory in order to secure as many weapons as they could to bring it to the control room and fight back against the Remorath. Although they were not able to return to the control room in time, Kim survived the battle which was ended by Glenn Talbot.[2]
Killed by Glenn Talbot[]
- "Talbot killed Kim?"
"Very, very much!" - ―Alphonso Mackenzie and Deke Shaw[src]
Kim joined a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission in order to rescue Phil Coulson and Glenn Talbot who had boarded Qovas' Ship. Along with several other agents, Kim took the Zephyr One into space and remained in the place along with Deke Shaw and James Davis while Quake and Melinda May left to infiltrate into the spaceship. When the lights went out in the plane, Kim drew his weapon, but he was killed by Talbot's gravity manipulation abilities as Talbot had turned on S.H.I.E.L.D. and sided with the Remorath.[3]
