The Kree Empire-Nova Empire War was a conflict between the Kree Empire and the Nova Empire.

History

A thousand years prior to the beginning of the Quest for the Orb, a war broke out between the Kree Empire and the Nova Empire. The war raged on for centuries causing massive casualities on both sides.

In 2014, a peace agreement was reached and rioting broke out throughout the Kree Empire.

Aftermath

The protests on the Kree Empire after the peace agreement with the Nova Empire.

Outraged by the peace agreement, a Kree named Ronan the Accuser began exterminating Xandarians throughout the galaxy. Nova-Prime Irani Rael called a Kree Ambassador asking for a testimonial from the Kree Empire condemning Ronan's murderous actions but the Ambassador ignored her.

Ronan made a pact with Thanos to retrieve the Orb in exchange for destroying Xandar. After Ronan achieved the Orb and discovered it was one of the Infinity Stones, he betrayed Thanos and kept the Orb for himself. Ronan attacked Xandar with his ship, the Dark Aster, and a thousand Necrocrafts. With the aid of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Ravagers, the Nova Corps managed to win the battle and retrieve the Orb.
