Born to Frank and Maria Castle, Lisa Castle had lived in family residence within New York City. She spent much time with her father who read her favorite book, "Penny & Dime". Lisa also liked plastic dinosaurs and had a lot of these to play. The day before Frank was sent to Afghanistan, he took his children onto a trip to go and see the Statue of Liberty. He reciting a nonsense poem to them and Frank Jr. said that was stupid. He agreed and asked Lisa to do the second verse of poem. As they looked at the statue, Lisa noted that her teacher told her that it represented everything good about the United States of America which her father agreed with.
Reuniting with Father

The day when Frank returned home, he found Lisa in their yoga class at her school. Upon seeing her father again once again, Lisa charged across her classrooms and into her dad's arms. At night, Lisa pleaded with her father to read her favorite bedtime story 'Penny & Dime', but the emotionally exhausted Castle promised that he would do so the next night.
Trip to Central Park
As part of Castle family's tradition, Lisa and her family went to the picnic at Central Park to celebrate Frank's return. Their friend Billy Russo joined them. She rode the horse carousal while her parents watched from the distance until Billy and Frank Jr. bought lunch for them to eat. At the table, Russo told the family of he was named after Billy the Kid who was an orphan and used his wits and bravery to survive. After telling the story, Lisa asked how did he know he if was named after Billy the Kid if he was an orphan. Russo replied that she was way too smart to be Frank Castle's child.
Unbeknownst to them that Cerberus Squad decided to have her father killed for they believed he leaked the torture and death of Ahmad Zubair. While Lisa and Frank Jr. played, squad using the Mexican Cartel, Dogs of Hell, and Kitchen Irish as cover up, opened fire at Frank and his family. Frank hold her lifeless body in his arms and saw that flesh spilling out of her face. Death of Lisa and family forced Frank to become the Punisher.
Being wounded after showdown in Kentucky, Frank imagined a Thanksgiving dinner at Lieberman Residence with both the Castle and Lieberman families. Lisa with Frank Jr. helped Leo and Zach Lieberman to set the table. They all congratulated Frank for his return. After toast, Lisa came to Frank and showed him paper turkeys made by herself. While they celebrated, masked soldiers walk in and surround them. Despite Frank's pleas, they brutally slaughtered all of them, including Lisa.
