Agent Mack worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. as a trucker for the agency.
Biography
After joining S.H.I.E.L.D., Mack worked as an undercover trucker for the agency. He was tasked with transporting Franklin Hall to a secure S.H.I.E.L.D. facility alongside two escort cars. Both of the cars were flung up into the air using Gravitonium; Mack tried to call for help but was lifted up inside the truck, which was promptly dropped on the ground from a height.
When backup arrived, Mack escaped the truck wreckage with only minor injuries and recalled his experience to Agent Phil Coulson. He wondered how the route he was taking was known, when that was privileged information.[1]

- Agent Mack's name and role as a trucker is an homage to the character Mack, an animated truck in the Disney film Cars.[2] The Walt Disney Company is also the owner of Marvel Studios.
