Why on Earth do you need reassurance... it's a picture you uploaded to a website which has been improved in quality, I do not understand why you're wasting my time with these questions. The picture being replaced is a good thing and nobody needs to ask your permission to do it. For one thing you don't own the copyright to that image, so it's not like you're an artist and someone is trying to take credit for your work, this does not affect you negatively in any way...
Well a big part of me begs to differ i don't own any of it but when i upload i feel its apart of me and i'm a part of the film and on the internet and when i i lose said upload i feel i have lost some of that and might not be able to get it back.
The FANDOM has changed the maximum size perimeters on the site, so images that are too large are vanishing. However this has been brought to the attention of FANDOM and the issue is being addressed. Hopefully it won't be long until everything is back to normal.
Weirdly enough I've had the same issue with editing Hela's page, her profile picture has vanished. As for why I have no clue, I was hoping it was glitch that might fix itself in a few hours but his does not seem to be the case.
I'll join your message to Shabook and make that the main point of communication for this topic.
But to explain it again, while I understand what a [...] means to skip out small section of dialogue to get to the bigger point, it should not be used on this wiki as when you start using that, You end up skipping out two or three sections of the dialogue which ends up giving us a mish mash of comments made by characters to be stuck together to make a point.
Quotes should be a quick section of clear dialogue spoken between characters, you should not have to cut this up and stick it back together to make a point.
Again... This was already explained to you after a previous debate so don't start doing things the way you want to just because you want to...
Hi there buddy! I see you are wokring on Thor 3 pics again. Still amazed by the high qualities you upload!! Would it be a huge favour to ask, to upload a few about Heimdall? I did my best to screenshot some from the movie, but I only have a lower res dvd, so all I got was blurry pics.. But you'd seem to have a top res one, so, could you do it?
I'm sure you're well-aware of the recent EW posters for the Infinity War characters. Since you have good resources for textless images, is there a resource for textless images of the EW posters? Just curious.
In my personal view a promotional image should always take priority over a newer screenshot, unless the newest screenshot shows a physical change in the character. I can't think of any examples right now but say if a character lost an arm but the promotional image for the last thing they appeared in showed them with both arms.
Not the best example but I personally think that the image of Loki in A:IW shows him looking basically exactly the same as he looked in T:R so I would say we should keep the TR poster image for now.
