I was wondering if I could ask you a question about the timeline.
I believe that if an event occured after 12:00am on December 31st, then on the timeline page it should go under December 31st. User:BEJT, the self-professed timeline aficionado, stated that according to policy, events that occur in the early hours of a day count as happening in the previous day. While this doesn't seem to make much sense to me (ex. someone being born 5:06 am on Dec 31 has Dec 31 on their DOB, not the 30th. Once midnight rolls around, it counts as a new day, no?)
I was wondering where this policy was stated and if so, whether it could be amended. Also, if you or Uskok or another admin could weigh in on the timeline pages to prevent mass edit wars. I'm seeing dates on the timeline being referenced to Guardians Vol 2 (such as Peter Quill being born October 27, 1980 and gaining the M-Ship on April 28, 1991 just because he told Rocket he'd been flying since 10) and I'm wondering where those dates even came from; I'm only getting the film as the answer, and those dates were not stated in the film at all.
Hi. I've noticed for awhile this wiki hasn't been covering anything of the upcoming HULU adaptation of the Runaways.
May I ask why this is? Because the show has had as much MCU clarification as Cloak and Dagger, or The New Warriors has. And it isn't a situation like FX's Legion, as ABC Studios and Marvel Entertainment are the ones creating it, as well as the show being titled "Marvel's Runaways".
Unless its been explicitly stated it isn't MCU, I would like to put forward the creation of articles based around the show.
A character featured in Doctor Strange is in the show.
As well as the fact that the same can be said for The New Warriors, or even Cloak and Dagger *at least until the Roxxon logo appeared*.
This wiki seems to rely heavily on expectation alone with upcoming projects, so there's no reason why it shouldn't be here, alongside all the other announced series that don't have an immediately obvious MCU connection
Most of the characters in Avengers Assemble are modeled after their MCU counterparts and Hayley Atwell will voice Peggy Carter in the series but that doesn't mean AA is set in the MCU. Guardians of the Galaxy is a direct continuation of the MCU film of the same name but it's still not set in the MCU. I repeat, so far there is no solid proof that the Runaways series is set in the MCU.
Cloak and Dagger has been confirmed explocitly to be set in the MCU from the beginning. New Warriors was added to this wiki as soon as the synopsis and character descriptions started to make references to The Avengers.
Runaways lacks any kind of confirmation, so basically you're using either false argumeents or haven' t researched anything at all...
Well you don't need to insult me. I have done research, and while, yes nothing official has been said by HULU or Marvel, other, trusted sources have said so, and as I said above, I'd say it being ABC produced makes it more than a fair assumption.
I don't mean to come across as someone trying to cause an argument, because I'm not. I'm just trying to argue for something to be here, because it seems other things have been added here just by the mere assumption.
In any case, I apologise if this got out of hand in any way. And if in the event anything is confirmed prior to its release, I'll be ready and willing to help make pages for it.
It's not an insult, it's a fact. When ysomeone tries to use arguments that are not true, he is either lying or has not make proper research to learn they are untrue. Not meant to offend but that's what it is...
Hey there, I'm an admin over at the DC Extended Universe Wiki. I've been writing up a Manual of Style and I was hoping we might be able to borrow the types of events that you guys have so beautifully detailed in your naming policy. It seems pretty hard to improve upon such well-chosen descriptions, so hopefully you wouldn't mind if we pinched them for use on our wiki? I thought it only right to ask you first.
Yes, of course you can, work is mostly mine, but I did with pleasure in order to help around, and if that help extends to other wikis, evn better. It would a nice and very appreciated touch to add a small note such as "Thank you to Shabook from the MCU Wiki" or something like that.
Thank you for asking first (It's kinda sad, but not everyone does it), and for reminding me that I need to take a look, as there are surely one or two new event types that need further description.

But of course! With 15 films, 5 shorts, 171 TV episodes and many, many comic books, with plenty more to come of each, it's impressive that you guys have kept up with it all and run such a tight ship. I honestly salute you, it's marvelous (heh)!
I just wanted to ask that what do I have to do to become a discussions moderator. I want to serve this wiki as moderater. I found that there is no discussions moderator in this wiki. Now I would like to tell you about me that why I want to serve as moderator or my efficiency , I'm user in many respectable wiki as well as community central. I understand how the wiki works (I'm an admin in a wiki too, but just started that wiki.) And I have enough experiences about wikis I myself applied for discussions feature in some other wiki . And I understand how this powers works.
I always follow rules and I'm a big fan of MCU . So I want to serve this wiki as discussions moderator so plz think about it and if you want make me one as an intern and let me know that if you are up to think about my application for discussions moderator.
Thank you very much for reading this.Have a good day!
However, you should start from the beginning and first prove yourself as an editor. With just a few random comments, nobody can be certain of your worth as a moderator.
And then, if (and it's a very big "if") we see the need for a discussions moderator, the community will propose the candidates, admins will vet them, and then the community will vote and choose them, as usual.
Don't expect all this to happen immediately, so if your intention was to become a mod in the following days, weeks, or even months, I'm sorry to disappoint you...
It's ok I understand. Thanks for reading this. Well I'm not much of a editor, I'm just a user of Discussions feature, and from which wikis I'm connected to don't need editing thing to become moderater but I understand every wiki has it's different policies, so I totally got it. Hopefully in future if you ever think about making someone discussion moderator plz keep this application in mind too.

Wikicrats are the same all over - ignore the spirit of building a wiki slowly it's just "undo"... drives contributors away faster than anything. Don't take the time to see if the info can be verified or ask for a source - just wikicrat it away. Enjoy your sandbox.
