"And this is why you failed to meet with Agent Omega at the coordinates I personally provided?"
"Well, yes, Madame Hydra. But it was hardly my fault the coordinates were decoded improperly."
"Then consider your death a pointless tragedy. We'll need a new team leader in Sector M-8."
Madame Hydra and HYDRA Officer[src]

Omega was an agent of HYDRA during World War II.

During the HYDRA occupation of Castle Zemo in 1944, Madame Hydra arranged for Agent Omega to meet with the team leader of Sector M-8, providing coordinates for the location of their meeting. The team leader did not make it to the meeting and claimed that it had been due to the coordinates being decoded improperly. Despite this, Madame Hydra killed him for it.[1]
