- "Do you have any idea how much intel costs on a low-rent planet like Paramatar? Let alone the ammo!"
- ―Rocket Raccoon
Paramatar is a low-rent planet that serves as a hub space port.
Rocket Raccoon chased Baldo through the hub space port on Paramatar. Baldo escaped into a forest and rested against a tree, which turned out to be Groot. Rocket caught up to Baldo and the duo apprehended him.
They took Baldo downtown and handed him over to D'Xtar. Rocket was outraged when D'Xtar only paid them 400 credits despite the fact that the bounty on Baldo was 900. Sick of being cheated, the pair thought their luck was changing when a woman lead them into a bar promising them free drinks. Unfortunately, they discovered that it was a trap and that a bounty had been placed on Rocket when they were ambushed by bounty hunters. Rocket produced his Laser Cannon, causing huge damage to the bar and confusion among the bounty hunters.
Suddenly, Groot grabbed Rocket. Rocket was shocked and hurt by his friend's betrayal. When some bounty hunters surrounded them, Rocket shot off the end of Groot's finger to escape from his grip. Rocket was chased through the streets by both Groot and the bounty hunters. He escaped into a building by tapping the wires of a lock. He ran into a bounty hunter who was sick of Rocket collecting bounties he felt he deserved, and prepared to kill him.
Groot then crashed through the wall. Rocket informed him that the bounty hunter put the bounty on him to thin out the competition. Groot threatened the bounty hunter, who canceled the bounty on Rocket. Groot then revealed that betraying Rocket was an act so that Rocket would attack him and make him angry, as he is a better fighter in that state. Rocket was thankful and the two left.
