The Plasma Sphere is a device used by Star-Lord to illuminate dark places.

History

Star-Lord used the plasma sphere on Morag to illuminate the Temple Vault that contained the Orb. When ambushed by Korath the Pursuer, he kicked the plasma sphere backwards and it shattered against the Sakaarans, disintegrating them.[1]
