Raina's Grandmother was the grandmother of Raina.

Biography

"My grandmother came from a long line of special people who believed in a story. About the blue angels that fell from the heavens. The ancients called them the Kree."

Raina's Grandmother raised her granddaughter, sharing with her the stories about their ancestors, who witnessed how a race of "blue angels" known as Kree visited the Earth, hoping to make humanity a "more worthy" race by destroying all but a specially chosen few.

She told her granddaughter that she was one of those worthy, and she would evolve into a transcendent and divine being, like an angel.

However, her grandmother died before witnessing Raina undergo a transformation, leaving Raina with only her stories to hold onto.
