The Remote Beacon is a device disguised as a common rock frequently used by S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents on covert missions to covertly signal HQ.
History
During a S.H.I.E.L.D. operation with the goal of disabling the Overkill Device, Agent Grant Ward used one of these beacons. When Agent Leo Fitz finished disabling the weapon, Agent Ward triggered the beacon, informing Agent Victoria Hand that their mission had been successful.[1]
