The Winter Soldier went to Alexander Pierce's house to receive his new mission, after the destruction of Camp Lehigh. Renata briefly left the house, but she returned for her forgotten cell phone and saw Pierce talking to the Winter Soldier, ultimately leaving him no other choice than killing her with his pistol.[1]
