"Are you a fighter, or are you food?"
Lead Scrapper[src]

The Sakaaran Scrappers are scavengers that populate the surface of Sakaar, divided into different clans and tribes, who forage materials and newcomers to the planet to sell to the Grandmaster.

History[]

Serving the Grandmaster[]

Castaway inhabitants of the planet Sakaar are called Scrappers. Most, but not all, are humanoid. At first, the Grandmaster liked to name them, but he quickly ran out of ideas and began assigning numbers. Scrappers dig through the garbage of Sakaar in search for recyclables, food, and valuable goods they can sell to the Grandmaster.[1]

Finding Thor[]

A group of Scrappers found the newly exiled Thor, who had just appeared on Sakaar after being ejected from the Bifrost Bridge. The Scrappers attacked Thor and managed to overpower him, trapping him in a net, before Scrapper 142 appeared, claiming Thor as her find, killing the other Scrappers when they refused to surrender their find. 142 attached an Obedience Disk on Thor, effectively subduing him and eventually selling him to the Grandmaster for ten million Units.[2]

Revolution[]

"I just, I gotta say. I'm proud of you all. This revolution has been a huge success. Yay us! Pat, pat on the back. Pat on the back. Come on. No? Me, too. 'Cause I've been a big part of it. Can't have a revolution without somebody to overthrow! So, ah, you're welcome. And, uh, it's a tie."
―Grandmaster to Sakaar's citizens[src]

Shortly after the Escape from Sakaar, a large group of Scrappers found the overthrown Grandmaster cornered on the planet's landscape who attempted to negotiate with them.[2]
