The Siege of the Chikara Dojo was an attempt by Danny Rand, Colleen Wing and Claire Temple to defend the Chikara Dojo from the Hand.

Upon locating Madame Gao in Anzhou, Danny Rand, Colleen Wing, and Claire Temple traveled to China to take her down. Rand and Wing managed to infiltrate inside the Hand's Anzhou Laboratory where they found the Hand's heroin production system. They were going to burn all the Steel Serpent inside, however, the Hand eventually confronted them. While Wing was left to fight the Hand members, Rand followed Gao but was stopped by Zhou Cheng.
Danny Rand captures Madame Gao
Eventually, Rand and Wing defeated their hostiles and faced Gao herself who ordered her men to kill Wing and Temple before capturing Rand. The three of them emerged into a fight with the Hand warriors and managed to take them down before Rand apprehended Gao and took her back to the United States.[4]
Madame Gao is taken to the Chikara Dojo
Rand decided to take Gao to the Chikara Dojo to later interrogate her about his parents and the link between the Hand and Rand Enterprises. As Gao was refusing to answer his questions, Temple suggested using Sodium thiopental to get the answers from her. Rand acquired some from the Rand Enterprises Building and Temple injected Gao with the serum and she revealed to Rand that his parents, as well as Harold Meachum were working with the Hand.
However, Gao revealed that she was only pretending that the serum worked on her, while Wing suddenly collapsed. Rand realized that during the skirmish in Anzhou, she was poisoned by the Hand warriors and tried to force Gao to tell him what poison the Hand used, but she refused to answer. Wing urged Rand to contact Bakuto and ask him to come as he was the only one who could help them in that situation. [5]

While they were waiting for Bakuto, the Hand operatives managed to locate Madame Gao and arrived at the Chikara Dojo with an intention to set her free. The lights throughout Dojo were cut out as they realized that someone was approaching, while Gao had taunted Danny Rand that his time was over and he was going to watch his friends die because of him. With Claire Temple arming herself with Tekko-Kagi, Rand prepared to defend Wing from an upcoming attack.

Moments later, operatives threw a smoke bomb into the Dojo and broke the ceiling to enter, so Rand summoned his Chi to give himself an advantage during the fight. The mercenaries entered the building and emerged into a fight with Rand who destroyed their weapons using the Iron Fist, keeping them away from Gao. Despite all of her previous injuries, Rand, Temple, and poisoned Wing fought hostiles back, successfully defeating them.
Colleen Wing is cured by Danny Rand's Chi
With her escape attempt having failed, Gao pointed to the now considerably weaker Wing and then made Rand an offer, if Rand escorted Gao to safety she would make sure that Temple had clear passage to Metro-General Hospital and was given the antidote to cure Wing before he poison was able to finally claim her life. Rand was urged not to listen to her from Wing as Gao was likely still lying to him. However, Bakuto then arrived at the Dojo, taking down Gao's men outside before entering the Dojo. Bakuto helped Rand to use his Chi to cure Wing of poison in her body and ordered his men to take Rand, Wing, and Gao to their compound.[5]
Aftermath[]

Upon Bakuto's orders, Madame Gao was neutralized and locked at his compound where also were taken Danny Rand and Colleen Wing. Bakuto informed Rand that Gao is not a threat anymore and offered to help him reveal all possibilities of the Iron Fist. Feeling suspicious, Rand sneaked inside the disclosed area of the compound where he found Gao's cell and tried to speak with her. Much to Rand's horror, Gao revealed to him that Bakuto and Wing are, in fact, the Hand.
Danny Rand and Davos fight against the Hand
Rand took an attempt to confront Bakuto and emerged into a fight with his students before he was joined by Davos. As Davos was going to take Rand back to K'un-Lun, they both tried to escape from the compound, only to find themselves surrounded by the Hand students. Rand and Davos fought back and managed to reach the gates, thanks to Wing's help. However, Rand found out that he lost his access to his Chi and was unable to use the Iron Fist, due to his constant anger, pain, and confusion. Eventually, Rand and Davos managed to defeat all Hand members on their way and leave the compound before returning to New York City.[5][6]
