The Avengers: Cutting Edge is an comic released by Marvel Custom Solutions sponsored by Gillette and is part of a promotion for razors.
At Gillette headquarters, Hawkeye is set on guard, as S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence warned Tony Stark that someone was after the latest invention of the R&D department. Stark is worried that the inventions will be stolen after a failed cyber attack at Stark Industries and invited Thor, Bruce Banner, Captain America and Black Widow to his presentation. With Gillette being a subsidiary of Stark Industries, the two companies worked together to create Avengers-inspired Razors and Stark is introducing them at a press conference.
During Stark's presentation Ghost appears and throws a grenade to the displayed Razors. Captain America quickly jumps in front of the grenade, holding off the explosion with his shield. Meanwhile Stark is putting his armor on and Banner is turning into the Hulk. Captain America then throws his shield at Ghost, but it simply flies through him. The ghostly saboteur then reveals he was the one that attacked the serves at Stark Industries and Iron Man shoots at him with his repulsor beams, but with no effect. The Hulk, Thor and Black Widow try to hit him as well but nothing seems to be able to touch him. Hawkeye comes to help and explains he has an arrow to disrupt electromagnetic pulses, but only works on impact. Not able to hit the Ghost with the arrow, Black Widow comes with the idea to hit Iron Man instead. Hawkeye shoots Iron Man down, which takes Iron Man completely by surprise. But beginning to understand the plan, Iron Man tricks the ghost into thinking that he could now steal the secrets stored on the hard drive of the armor. In order to get the top secret information, the ghost has to become solid for a moment and when he does he gets hit in the back by Captain America's shield. The ghostly industrial saboteur passes out and is arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D.
