In his apartment, Banner tries to cure himself with a high dose of a mysterious flower, but with no success. He reports the failure via online chat to Mr. Blue, who persuades him to send a blood sample.

After receiving the blood sample, Mr. Blue is convinced he can cure Banner, but he needs more data from the original experiment on Banner. Meanwhile General Ross has put up a team to capture Banner and are about to storm Banner appartement. Banner flees to the bottle plant, where he is no longer able to remain in control and turns into the Hulk. Ross his team changes to life ammunition and try to stop him, but they are no match for the Hulk.

Hulk destroys several military vehicles, but gets attacked with sonic canons. Hulk destroys the canons and is challenged by Emil Blonsky, who Hulk easily throws against a tree. Betty Ross rushes up to Hulk as he gets targeted by a helicopter. Hulk protects Ross and destroys the helicopter, leaving with her. Blonsky recovers while Ross says that it seems like Bruce Banner can control the Hulk, but Banner says that he wants to be rid of it.

Banner and Ross go to New York City to meet with Samuel Sterns, who warns Banner that the procedure to get rid of the Hulk could be dangerous and that he does not know whether it would work. They undergo the process and suppress the Hulk, and Sterns reveals that he intends to use Banner's blood to cure diseases. Banner scolds Sterns and gets shot as the military arrives. Blonsky asks Sterns to make him like the Hulk, turning him into the Abomination. Ross receives word that the Hulk is in Harlem, and Banner realizes that only Hulk could fight the helicopter, so Banner jumps out of the helicopter, bringing out the Hulk. The two fight and Abomination destroys the helicopter, causing Hulk to get angrier and start choking Abomination with a change. Betty Ross gets Hulk to stop, and Hulk leaves.

One month later, Banner gains control of the Hulk and embraces his power.

Part 3: 'Thor: The Dark World Adaptation'[]

The Asgardians successfully prevent the Dark Elves from getting the Aether, and Bor orders the burial of the powerful weapon. Thousands of years later, Loki is imprisoned for invading Midgard. Odin scolds Loki, who asks his father to follow through on his punishment. Odin says that Frigga was the only thing keeping him alive. Odin confirms that Thor will be King once he is done cleaning up the mess Loki created.

Thor helps Sif fight off a group Marauders on Vanaheim. Meanwhile, Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis, and Ian Boothby study an anomaly occurring in London. Foster navigates the building, believing Thor to be nearby, when she comes across the Aether, which attaches itself to her. Foster returns to Earth, where Lewis reveals that she has been Gove for five hours and that the police were present. Thor goes to Foster and explains that he was too busy to visit her, and that Foster had disappeared from Heimdall's sight, asking where she was. A police officer attempts to arrest Foster, but flies backward upon touching her. Thor takes Foster to Asgard, upsetting Odin. Odin orders a guard to bring her to Midgard, but as soon as he tries to touch her, he flies backward again. Odin explains what the Aether is, and says that the Dark Elves will be returning for it.

Later, Thor tells Foster about the Convergence, saying that Foster had likely found a point of Convergence. Foster and Thor kiss, and Thor promises to find a way to save her. Meanwhile, Kurse escapes prison and leads a riot, and Loki tells him where he might find Thor. The Dark Elves attack Asgard. Frigga confronts Malekith and refuses to tell him where the Aether is, prompting Kurse to kill her. Loki is informed of his mother's death and a funeral is held for her, while Erik Selvig lectures the fellow residents of his psychiatric ward about the Convergence.

Thor shares his plan with Odin to bring Foster to Svartalfheim, which Odin disapproves of, wanting to wait for the Dark Elves to attack Asgard. Heimdall tells Thor that there are other ways to get Foster off of Asgard, so Thor asks Loki for help, threatening to kill him if he betrays him. Lewis and Boothby get Selvage out of the psychiatric hospital as the Convergence begins, and Selvage asks to be taken to Foster's lab. Meanwhile, Thor, Loki, and Foster escape Asgard and go to Svartalfheim. Loki stabs Thor and offers him and Foster to the Dark Elves in exchange for a seat from which to watch Asgard burn.

Part 4: 'Thor: The Dark World Adaptation'[]

Kurse confirms that Loki would enjoy watching Asgard burn, and Malekith begins to extract the Aether from Jane Foster. Thor and Loki enact their plan and attack the Dark Elves, but it does not work. The Dark Elves attack Thor and Loki and defeat them while Malekith escapes. Malekith goes to Midgard while Kurse attacks Thor. Thor and Kurse fight, while Loki stabs Kurse, who stabs Loki in return and throws him back. Kurse leaves while Thor rushes to Loki as he apparently dies. Foster reveals that Malekith plans to destroy existence, and they return to London for help.

Foster, Thor, Erik Selvig, Darcy Lewis, and Ian Boothby meet and discuss their plan, as Selvig figures out that the Convergence will occur in Greenwich. Lewis and Boothby begin setting up devices created by Selvig as the Ark arrives. Thor and Malekith being fighting as the Dark Elves are sent through Convergence portals by Selvig's devices. They fight through several dimensions and get separated in London, forcing Thor to take the train back to Greenwich. Malekith begins to unleash his power as Thor returns and throws two of Selvig's devices at Malekith, killing him and destroying the Ark. Thor and Selvig kiss.

Odin talks to Thor and refers to him as the new King, but Thor says that he cannot be King, saying that he would rather be a good man. Thor leaves, as Odin undoes his illusion, revealing himself to really be Loki.
