History[]

Flying Race[]

Tony Stark made an agreement to test Global Incorporated's Glider Harness in a race against his Iron Man Armor. Omar, the CEO of Global Incorporated, promised to donate five million dollars to the Maria Stark Foundation if Iron Man was able to beat their Glider Harness over the city of Dubai.

Stark gained the upper hand during the race, evading the attacks of the pilots and using evasive maneuvers to trick the pilots into colliding with many obstacles. However, one of his moves made a pilot crash into a footbridge connecting two skyscrapers, resulting in a woman falling over the footbridge.

Stark deviated his course to save the woman and, in order to avoid endangering more civilians, he shot a non-lethal projectile with adhesive restraints to the pilots, making them lose control of their harnesses and crashing against a billboard of Global Incorporated.

Stark landed with the woman and was confronted by Omar, who was angry for the results of his Glider Harness and the destruction of his billboard. Omar then refused to donate the agreed quantity, arguing that only the cost of the sign would require the five millions. Stark simply told Omar to bill him the cost of the sign.[1]

Architecture of Qasim Zaghlul[]

Dubai is famous for housing some of the world's most impressive skyscrapers. One of its most famous buildings is the Arabian Blade, designed by architect Qasim Zaghlul, who also was one of the shareholders of Quinn Worldwide.

During one of the shareholders' meetings in Malta, Skye, in one of her first undercover missions, expressed her liking of Zaghlul's architectonic style, defining it as "super sci-fi".[2]

Framework Network[]

With the knowledge of the Darkhold, Holden Radcliffe and Aida began perfecting the Framework. Upon completion, the code had become so powerful that it had to be processed on devices from all around the world. Part of the data was transmitted to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[3]

Moon Knight's Activities[]

While operating as Moon Knight under the orders of Khonshu, Marc Spector went to Dubai and killed a criminal who was there. He remembered killing the criminal, who was recreated in the Duat while Spector and Steven Grant attempted to balance their scales.[4]
