Was Erik Selvig really being controlled?

Warning: For those of you who haven't seen the films, Thor and The Avengers, don't read this blog post until you see both of those films.

I'm extremely confused about one thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the after-credit scene in Thor, Erik Selvig was brought to a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility where he was told of the Tesseract. Soon Loki controls Selvig, but in The Avengers Loki didn't control Selvig until he came to Earth.

I think that it was just a reference to Loki going to control Selvig in The Avengers.

I want to know what you think. Please put why you chose it in the comments (if you want to).

Captain America's Future Lonelyness

I don't know how many of you feel bad for Captain America considering that he was frozen for over 70 years and has all of his friends (with an exeption of Bucky *wink*) have aged and are either in their 90s or more or have died. I don't know how many of you bought The Avengers recently but in the disc there were some extended scenes. One of which was a scene where Cap was looking through some files of agents from there Strategic Scientific Reserve and S.H.I.E.L.D.. He also found Peggy Carter's file and it had her phone number on it but he decided not to call her. You're probably thinking "You mooncalf (It's a word. Look it up. Search it at this link.)! You should have called! (mumbling mean things)" or "I understand, your just not ready to…

Team Edward or Team Mark

Now I know that if you have seen (or have relatives who make you see) Twilight movies this title might sound a little like Team Edward or Team Jacob. This has NOTHING to do with that terribleness (no offence you Twighlight fans). This is about the actors for Bruce Banner.

This is not Edward Cullen. It is Edward Norton. Edward played Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk.

Mark Ruffalo played Bruce Banner in The Avengers.

Personally I like both of them but I want to hear what you have to say. If you vote then please put why you chose who you chose in the coments. If you don't want to explain why it's fine.

My hopes for Phase 3

These are my hopes for Phase 3 (if you're too lazy to read the title, that was the last time I put that in my blogs).

  • 1 Black Panther
    • 1.1 Story
    • 1.2 Actors
  • 2 Luke Cage
    • 2.1 Story
    • 2.2 Actors
  • 3 The Incredible Hulk 2
    • 3.1 Story
    • 3.2 Actors
  • 4 Avengers: Infinity War
    • 4.1 Story
    • 4.2 Actors

I think that they should finally make the Black Panther movie.

It should be about T'Challa trying to become a great leader and defending Wakanda. There should also be a scene showing T'Chaka giving Howard Stark some Vibranium to make Captain America's sheild. The main villain should be Man-Ape. In the after-credits scene it should have Nick Fury asking T'Challa to join the Avengers.

  • Wesley Snipes as T'Challa / Black Panther
  • Kevin Michael Richardson as Man-Ape
  • Djimon Hounsou as T'Chaka (flashbac…
