During the Inhuman Outbreak, Lynn had been working for the Advanced Threat Containment Unit as an assistant to Rosalind Price, and track down Inhumans. After taking a day off from work, she was considered to be one of the customers that had bought Nature Max Supplements Fish Oil pills, which had the Terrigen Mist, from a store. After consuming her first pill, she underwent Terrigenesis which helped activate her powers.
After removing herself from her cocoon, Lynn never learnt on what she became or what her power was. Thinking that nothing had happened, Lynn assisted Price and Luther Banks in tracking down an Inhuman named Lincoln Campbell, who was wanted for murdering several people who were in fact Inhumans. During the manhunt, Lynn informed her boss that she was getting a call from the White House, in which Rosalind replied to put it through. However, the call wasn't coming from the White House at all, and instead it was Director Phil Coulson.
Sometime after Rosalind's death, Lynn was suddenly found by the ancient Inhuman Hive, who discovered what her power is and attempted to control her like a number of Inhumans that had fallen to him. Lynn sensed what he was about to do and suddenly leeched away from his power before she could be touched. She managed to flee and would soon be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. a few weeks after Hive's death. Now that S.H.I.E.L.D. was under the control of a new Director, Lynn signed her name in the Sokovia Accords and

- Power Dampening: As an Inhuman, Lynn has the ability to leech away the superhuman powers of others.
- Martial Arts: After been recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D., her powers granted her to learn how to become a trained martial artist by Agent Melinda May.
