Dave was imprisoned at Seagate Prison sometime before the arrival of Trevor Slattery. One day during lunch, Slattery accidentally spilled his lunch tray on him. Dave began threatening and insulting him, but did not take physical measures as Herman and a group of prisoners led by Fletcher Heggs were ready to defend their idol.[1]
