Biography

A Discussion of Regulation

"Discoveries are still being made in the massive cache of classified material released by former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff, and the leak clearly details how the organisation known as HYDRA was able to infiltrate the highest ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D. and had organised a massive conspiracy on the civilian population. Romanoff's actions, independent from oversight, saved us from what could have been a catastrophic outcome had HYDRA been able to remain undiscovered."
―Will Adams to Christine Everhart[src]

Will Adams appeared on WHiH World News on April 22, 2016 to discuss the potential regulation of superpowered individuals with host Christine Everhart. Everhart brought up the intervention of the Avengers in international incidents, and while she commended their actions she asked Adams who accounted for the devastation they left behind. Adams answered that the question was not whether should be allowed to operate independently, but rather why they should not. He pointed out that in the cache of material released by former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff it had been revealed that HYDRA had infiltrated the highest ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D. and organised a massive conspiracy on the civilian population. He stated that Romanoff's actions, which were independent from oversight, had saved many lives from what could have been a catastrophic outcome if HYDRA had remained undiscovered.
