History[]

This section requires expansion
"The prophecy is the only hope my people have had for millennia."
Xavin to Molly Hernandez[src]

There is an ancient prophecy among the Xartan people that someday the love of two people from different worlds would bring peace to the universe.

Millenia ago, a Xartan named Xavin became convinced they were one of the two lovers from the prophecy and, seeking to see other worlds to find their soulmate, stowed away on a spaceship carrying a family of exiled Gibborim from their home planet. The ship crashed on planet Earth, burrowing deep beneath the surface. Xavin remained trapped in the wrecked for over 11,000 years.[1]

Characteristic Traits[]

"Still getting used to having a mouth."
Xavin to Leslie Dean[src]

Xartans are able to shapeshift into other beings. One of the characteristics of their true forms is that they don't have mouths. Also, Xartans do not require sleep.

Trivia[]

  • In the comics, the Xartans are a race of aliens who inhabit the planet Xarta. The Celestials once experimented on them, creating a Deviant faction of the race. The Deviant Xartans went to war with the baseline Xartans, and exterminated them. As it is with the Skrulls, the Deviants are the only Celestial-experimented faction of the Xartan race that still exists.
